The Mazda MX-5 Miata is back for another round, and this driver-centric sports convertible is better than ever. The two-seat convertible comes in three different trim levels, all of which are budget-friendly, thrilling to drive, and filled with intuitive technology. Here at Fields Mazda of Asheville, we are proud to carry all three trims of the 2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata.
MAZDA MX-5 Miata Sport
The base trim of the new Mazda car is called the Sport, and for good reason. Like all three trims of the convertible roadster, it comes standard with a SKYACTIV-G® 2.0 DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder engine good for 181 horsepower. Every trim also comes standard with a manual transmission, with a six-speed Sport automatic transmission as an option.
The exterior of the vehicle features handsome 16-inch metallic black alloy wheels and overall design inspiration stemming from classic roadsters of the 1960s.
In terms of safety features, all three trim levels come standard with:
- Blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert
- Lane departure warning system
- Kinematic posture control
MAZDA MX-5 Miata Club
Next up is the Club trim, which adds some in-cabin luxuries. First up is the Bose nine-speaker audio system with AudioPilot, driver’s and passenger’s headrest speakers, and a subwoofer. Also, standard wireless Apple CarPlay® allows drivers to easily connect to their favorite navigation apps, messaging features, and playlists.
Finally, performance on the Club trim is enhanced with a torque-sensing limited-slip differential.
MAZDA MX-5 Miata Grand Touring
The top-of-the-line Grand Touring trim adds the following luxuries:
- Auto on/off headlights
- Adaptive front-lighting system
- High beam control
- Rain-sensing variable-intermittent windshield wipers
- Auto-dimming driver’s side mirror
